Conveyancing & Corporate Real Estate

The Department acts for a diverse range of clientele, in a wide range of real estate-related transactions involving residential, commercial, and industrial properties including JTC properties and purchase of trust properties or properties to be held under a trust.  

The Firm is on the approved panel of lawyers for the Central Provident Fund Board, most major local banks incorporated in Singapore, foreign banks with branches registered in Singapore and other financial institutions in Singapore and has represented them in various housing loans, corporate matters and mortgagee’s sales as well as for developers in joint ventures.  In particular, the Firm works closely with OCBC Bank in residential and commercial redemptions, mortgages and mortgagee sale matters.

The Department also handles retail conveyancing, corporate real estate, residential, commercial and industrial leases, transfers of assets pursuant to divorce or settlements and estate matters and advising on general real estate-related matters and issuance of foreign legal opinions to overseas banks.

Additionally, the Department maintains a close working relationship with the Banking & Finance and Corporate & Commercial Practice Departments for major real estate financing transactions and construction financing.
